Watching Movies Online

By Kyle Wright

It was not long after the internet explosion in the late 90s, that file sharing software began to appear on the net. Everyone surely remember when Napster was huge. The original version only allowed frequent visitors to download songs.

Since then, file sharing has erupted with hundreds of knock-off version of Napster. A lot of these programs not only have songs but they have documents, programs, picture and movies. With these updates, these programs have become a household name among young adults.

As stated before, there are many programs out there but one of the more popular ones is the programs Bear Share. Bear Share encourages the users to have shortened videos and movie files less than fifteen minutes long but that doesn?t stop the users. If the file isn?t complete then it is broken down into parts.

Another notorious program similar to Bare Share is Limewire. Often files are placed on there well before their boxed release or their theater release. Movies like Frost Nixon, American Gangster and Grand Torino was on there well before they were scheduled to be out.

One that you might come across on Bare Share and Limewire is the mpeg format. Mpeg stands for ?Moving Picture Expert Group? and it was specifically designed for internet and downloading movies. To view an mpeg format movie you will need QuickTime or Windows Media Player.

When the movie file is completely downloaded, it goes to either your Limewire or Bare Share library folder. You now can open it with a video viewing program like Windows Media Player or QuickTime and watch it. Another idea is to burn it to a CDR and watch it as a DVD.

One big worry people have with using file sharing is whether or not downloading movies is illegal. It is illegal because all the movies are protected under copywriting laws. New movies are often bootlegged or leaked so that makes them illegal to posses as well.

Companies like Paramount and Universal have begun fighting back and taking measures to stop illegal downloads. Companies have begun implement software that stops illegal downloading and tracks traffic and IP addresses. The more you download the more likely you are to get caught.

Two formats that PC users might want to be aware of is the .mov and the qt file formats. These file formats are dedicated to the Apple users. To view this you will need an Apple QuickTime Player. If you are a PC user and see this format, you might want to keep looking.

Because of the above reasons of safety and illegality, both programs have seen a significant drop in members. There are less peers to share your movies with therefore there are less movies to download. Nonetheless, this is still the place to find new movies on the internet.

Once you know what file suits you and your computer you will need to have the video player. Most can be found on the designer?s website or on download.com. And do not to forget to set your favorite player as your default player.

Inflatable kayaking - more fun less work

By Jimmy Jansson

Earth has so much to offer and most of the time we just ignore it. Luckily, many people are returning back to nature. I think they have to.

I believe being in nature can provide healing to stressed out minds and bodies. Nature has a way of correcting bodies back to normal and that's difficult not to appreciate.

One part of nature that nearly everyone can connect to is water. It may have something to do with the home of our first months of existence.

Boating is usually a pleasant experience for people, but there are numerous other various water activities to do. I want you take a look at what an inflatable kayak has to offer.

Will inflatable kayaks live up to paddling expectations? Well, they will rarely go quicker than hard-shell kayaks, and are often smaller.

But, even though they are not as fast or sturdy, the inflatable kayak has great advantages. They have grown from low quality playthings, to water vehicles that can be trusted and used in rough water conditions.

So, what's real advantage with an inflatable kayak? I'll tell you in three words: It is portable. It's actually not much larger than a medium-sized bag.

You could argue the hard-shell kayak is also portable, and you are right. Even So, a hard-shell kayak is not nearly as easy to bring with you as an inflatable kayak. While a hard-shell often requires to be strapped to the ceiling of a car, an inflatable can rest in the trunk.

Consider what that can do for valuable time and flexibility! Personally, I want the boring parts of life to be as easy as possible, and the steps involved in transporting a kayak to and from the water does not bring me much joy.

The common routine for taking a kayak from home to the sea involves assembling luggage-rack, carrying and strapping. You have got to do this all over again when returning. I know, not the end of the world, but I rather not do it.

I try to focus on doing more of the things I like and less of the rest yea I pay tax). Great weather outside? I dress, jump into the car and go paddling, almost too easy.

An inflatable kayak is not that big of an investment money wise. Prices change of course, but are generally lower than traditional kayaks. Inflatable kayak designs come in the same flavors as traditional hard-shells, so there is an inflatable kayak for anybody.
