TWENTY ONE: The basis for this film is the actual tale of young college kids who created a team of blackjack players that beat the casinos. These college kids planned, trained, and executed an assault on the casinos. To play in Las Vegas, where players can be banned for winning with card counting skills, they had to change casinos often, and disguise themselves, so the wouldn't get caught. Twenty One is based on the book that tells how the M.I.T. teams took it to the casinos.

TROPIC THUNDER: With a collection of acting greats this outrageous flick is a spoof on vietnam war movies. To get better results from his spoiled actors to make a true epic masterpiece, the desperate director into the middle of nowhere, leaving them to fend for themselves. Instead, with the Penguins leading them astray, they are heading off to Africa instead.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie tells the tale of Dr. Bruce Banner, who has been transformed into the Hulk. The movie tells of the marvel comic hero, the Incredible Hulk. Larry Bird - A Synonym For Basketball

Raised in French Lick, Florida after being born in West Baden Springs, Larry Joe Bird had a talent for basketball which was apparent from an early age. Coming from a small town, Bird felt a little out of place at the immense campus of the Hoosiers and wanted to drop out right away. Once satisfied with his decision to leave, he took a year off and then enrolled at Indiana State becoming part of their Sycamore team. Here he began to show true promise and in 1979 as a senior, Bird led his team to the NCAA Championship game where they faced the Michigan State Spartans. Another future legend, Magic Johnson, was a Spartan team member and it was at this first game the two would meet, but certainly not the last time these two forwards would play against each other. Indiana finished its year with a 33-1 record giving Larry a place in the school's history. When he left Indiana State, he left with a 30.3 points per game average and was the fifth-highest scorer in NCAA history-quite the accomplishment for the three-year only player.

Larry Bird was the number one draft pick of the Boston Celtics in 1979 - he joined the team, earning a then-record of $650,000 annually. He averaged 21.3 points per game with the team and won a NBA Rookie of the Year award. Bird led the Celtics to a 61-21 record and himself to great popularity with Boston's fans.

By 1980, the Celtics moved their playing court into the Robert Parrish Center and drafted Kevin McHale. These two men would become what have been dubbed the "best frontline in NBA history." The end of the 1983-84 season brought victory to Bird and his Celtic teammates with a seven-game series and win over the Lakers; they won the seventh game in a close but exciting 111-102 score. Larry averaged 27 points and 14 rebounds during this amazing series and won the coveted Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the NBA's regular season MVP for the 1983-84 season. A loss to the Lakers in the 1984-85 season still brought Larry the NBA's MVP award. Fans of basketball everywhere still feel the match-up of Bird versus Magic was and is the best match-up in basketball and the most exciting to watch.

The Celtics returned to finals once again in the 1985-1986 season; they defeated the Houston Rockets in six games and finished with a 76-15 record for the year. Bird again won the series MVP in this, his third NBA championship victory with an average of 24 points per game, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. This year also saw him winning the league MVP award, the third player to do so. Bird's Celtics would also come out on top in the finals the next year, beating the Lakers in six games. Bird, like his rival Magic Johnson was becoming synonymous with the game of basketball.

However, it was his performance in the 1987-1988 season which would make the name Larry Bird a synonym for basketball. This season saw him earning a 29.9 point per game average with a field goal percentage of .527 and a free throw average of .916. Have you ever wondered how it is to actually travel alone? Well, I know because I have been backpacking. I know how it feels to go to a new place and learn something new, and also make new friends. If you don't know anything about backpacking, read this article because I am going to offer you some tips/reasons.

Firstly, we have to understand what backpacking is. Backpacking is a form of low-cost travel. In other words, backpacking is a way where you can travel around without bringing too much money. But, you have to give up on luxuries like posh hotels and shopping.

One good thing about backpacking is that you can always go on your own and there is no need to get someone to tag along

One thing for sure; you won't be alone for long. When you travel alone it does not mean it has to be a lonely trip. Here is the first tip on making friends while traveling.

The best tips I can offer you; the easiest way to make friends is to get involved in activities. Join a group of people to scuba dive. I am sure you'll make friends there. Beach Festival

You would probably have your fairs and festivals set somewhere in an open field, inside a mall, in the town square or anywhere accessible, right?

One town decides to have a beach fair though, just for the heck of it. Which is really a good idea because people are seemingly more and more sad with what's happening with the economy and all the recession.

The event was marked off with a pre-morning ice swim. Everyone was shivering hard after. I'd reckon anyone would, the water really was freezing. But well, with this and that; the whole lot was more energetic thereafter. People said that the cold water also improves your memory. I guess there was an advantage then, even if the side effect would be a small cold after.

There was a grill party come noon, when everyone decided to just lounge around in the sun to warm themselves up and gain a nice, healthy tan. The air smelled of fish, meat, and lemon-spiced vegetables; courtesy of the townsmen. Well, officially, I was just an outsider and I did not contribute to the whole affair, so it pretty much was just a sit in for me and I had settled to just eating my packed lunch.

Afternoon was when the place was suddenly filled with booths. The other people began selling beach accessories, towels, and some light snacks. I had chosen to buy one, a small bracelet for my gran-gran. It had pretty shells in it. I know she'll adore it.

That evening (the people were quite adamant to go through with the festival), everyone slowly settled down and simply relaxed, having a star gazing event because the stars weren't really visible when in the city. We were surprised when there was a fireworks festival thereafter. I guess the town had a bit of something to squeeze in with their small budget.

Perhaps there would be another one next year.

Walter Payton

Walter Payton's Hall of Fame-worthy career set an example for every NFL player to come after him. Even though Payton passed nearly a decade ago, Bears fans remember him to this day as if he had only retired last week. Sportscasters still measure new players against Payton, an intimidating standard to be sure.

Payton was born in Columbia, MS in 1954 and came to the game relatively late in life for an NFL player. It was not until high school that he discovered his talent for and love of the game. He continued to play in college at Jackson State in Mississippi.

Payton was the fourth draft pick for the 1975 Chicago Bears, a year where he was also fourth in contention for the Heisman Trophy. His first season got off to a slow start with 679 yards and 7 touchdowns - but in the final game of the season, Payton showed the world what he was capable of. Payton finished out the season with a 134 yard run in a season ending game against the Saints, Payton pulled off a feat not seen by Chicago fans since Gale Sayers was still wearing the uniform.

In his second season with the Bears, Walter reached 1,000 yards with 13 touchdowns and was named the NFL's most valuable player in 1977. In 1977, the Bears made the playoffs where Walter ran for 274 yards in one game, a record that wasn't broken until the year 2000.

Walter Payton was known fondly as "sweetness" to fans and teammates, a nickname which belied his incredible 13 year career record of 16,726 total career-rushing yards, 110 touchdowns and no less than 77 100-yard rushing games.

Payton made it look easy, with 1,000 yards dashed in each season between 1976 and 1981. Payton played in every Pro Bowl from 1979 until his retirement. His rushing record has been broken since, but is record may still stand today were it not for NFL strikes which cut short the 1975 and 197 seasons.

With the addition of coach Mike Ditka to the team, Payton saw a new batch of players arrive and the Bears were better than ever. Payton lead a division-leading Chicago Bears and broke Jim Brown's record for yardage in 1984; ever the gentleman, Payton dedicated this feat to athletes whose careers had ended early due to injuries or illness.

And of course, 1986 was the year of the "Super Bowl Shuffle", still commonly heard coming from the jukeboxes in Chicago taverns. The Bears had made it to the Super Bowl for the first time and they were victorious over the Patriots in the matchup, with a jaw-dropping 46-10 score.

In 1987, Walter Payton said goodbye to football with a tremendous send off at Soldier Field in Chicago. Walter was not one to slow down after his retirement from the NFL and sat on the Bears Board of Directors in 1988, started a CART racing team, and opened a restaurant brewpub. In 1993, his greatest triumph was achieved by being named to the NFL's Hall of Fame.

Payton went public with the announcement that he had been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. He was placed on a waiting list for a new liver; sadly, he passed away on November 1st of that year.

There are many stories fun, exciting, and charming about old number 34 of the Chicago Bear, but perhaps Walter's biggest legacy is the outreach of people signing up for organ donation after his death in Illinois. We still today, miss the man, the shuffle-yeah, we still miss "Sweetness.
